The Spirit of Boz - Association for Contemporary Art - was created by Julien Friedler with the intention to develop the “ Forest of Souls “ project.
The Association which is geared towards human values and artistic realizations is funded mainly with the proceeds of the sale of Julien Friedler’s art works, donations and subscribers.
One of the programs within the Association is called Be Boz Be Art that enables Spirit of Boz to look for and find new artistic endevour around the world and bring them to the public eye.
A team of dedicated supporters, following Julien Friedler’s directions, go and collect some artistic expressions from different part of the world, from Loncopue in South Argentina to Togo in Africa, going through Java in Tibet, and exchange them among themselves to give birth to some fresh expressions.
Afin de soutenir son projet d’installation «Forêt des âmes», Julien Friedler fonde en 2006 l’association Spirit of Boz.
Son but consiste à promouvoir l’art contemporain, la création collective autour du Boz. Son un but est humaniste et artistique. Elle est financée par la vente des œuvres de Julien Friedler, les adhésions et le mécénat.
Elle développe un programme intitulé Be Boz Be Art. A travers le monde, Spirit of Boz cherche les nouvelles pratiques artistiques et à leur donner une visibilité.
En respectant l’esprit insufflé par Julien Friedler, l’équipe collecte autour du monde des traces d’expressions artistiques. De Loncopue au Togo, en passant par Java, le Tibet, l’Argentine, toutes les oeuvres collectées s’échangent et donnent naissance à de nouvelles expressions.
